I completed my Bachelor of Design in Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Istanbul,
Turkey in 2006. I had been hired as a Graphic Designer right after my graduation
by one of my visiting professors, Bulent Erkmen, Creative Director of BEK Design.
He noted:

"Pinar impressed me with her capacity for forbearance when confronted
with my critical approach, her attention to detail, her drive to learn, her quest
for originality and most importantly her profound interest in design."

After residing in Vancouver Canada, I am a recent Communication Design graduate
from Emily Carr Art + Design University. My main interest in design is in typography
and print medium, as my portfolio carries a variety of projects identity, exhibition,
book, information, and magazine designs.

My work recently recognized by Applied Arts Magazine in 2010 Student Awards,
by IDS West: Future Masters and by GDC in 2010 Salazar Awards.
